Time and materials

We work exclusively on a time-and-materials basis. That means only the hours that were actually worked are invoiced. No fixed prices that no longer match reality afterwards, no hidden buffers, no hours that were made "somewhere" but cannot be traced anywhere.

Fixed-price agreements may sound reassuring, but they always hide uncertainty. Either you pay for risk that never materialised, or the supplier cuts corners on quality to stay within budget. We choose a different approach: honest work, billed honestly. You know exactly where your budget goes, and we have no reason to take shortcuts.

02

Scope

We only carry out what you explicitly asked for, or what is technically necessary for the solution to work correctly. That sounds obvious, but in practice small additions often creep in and later justify a large invoice. That is not how we work.

If we encounter something during the project that falls outside the initial scope, we stop. It may be a technical dependency, an opportunity, a problem that appears, or something else. We present it to you and explain the impact on timing and budget. Only after your approval do we continue. Never the other way around.

03

Consultation

A project evolves. Insights change, priorities shift, and reality is rarely exactly what it seemed at the start. That is normal. What is not normal is a supplier silently absorbing those changes and charging for them afterwards.

We discuss every change that impacts timing or budget in advance. Not afterwards. We keep you informed about what is happening, present the options, and wait for your decision. You determine the direction and we make sure we get there.

04

Transparency

With every invoice, you receive a time report with a clear overview of the hours worked per task. No vague descriptions, no block invoices for "general development work".

Would you like more detail? That is always available. We have nothing to hide, because we believe transparency is the foundation of a long-term collaboration. A client who understands where their budget goes is a client who has confidence. And confidence is what drives us.

05

Communication

In a project, many things happen verbally (a phone call, a quick message, ...). That is efficient and human, but it also creates room for misunderstandings. What one person said, the other may have heard slightly differently.

That is why we always confirm verbal agreements in writing before we begin. Change requests go through the agreed channel so everything remains traceable and there is no doubt for anyone about what was agreed. No he-said-she-said. Just black and white.

06

Response time

We aim to respond to questions or requests within one business day. Not because it is written in a document, but because we know silence creates stress in a project. An open question is a blocker, and blockers cost time and money.

Is something urgent? Tell us. We discuss it together and prioritise accordingly. We are not a large anonymous agency where you are ticket number 4,872. You work with a fixed team that knows your project and is available when it matters.

07

Delivery

Nothing goes live without your approval. Deliverables are first submitted for review, because you are the one who knows the result best. You see the end user, you know the context, you know what works in and for your organisation.

Only when you give the green light do we make the final move. Content, priorities, and direction remain your domain. We bring the technical expertise, you guard the vision. Together you get further than alone.
